Rules & Regulations
The certification scheme rules governing every applicant, certified client, and operation within the scope of an issued NAESS - Certification & Surveyor Ltd. certificate.

The purpose of these regulations is to govern the administration, evaluation, and maintenance of certifications awarded under our formal schemes (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001). These rules ensure that all certified organizations maintain consistent compliance with international standards, preserving the integrity and global recognition of the certification mark.
2. Scope of Application
These rules apply to all applicants, certified clients, and operations falling within the defined scope of the issued certificate. Compliance with these regulations is a mandatory prerequisite for the granting and continuous validation of any certificate.
3. Rights and Obligations of the Certified Organization
To maintain active certification status, the certified organization must strictly adhere to the following provisions:
Operational Compliance: Continuously operate and maintain its management system in accordance with the audited standard(s).
Access for Audits: Grant the assigned audit team full access to necessary facilities, documentation, digital systems, and personnel during scheduled surveillance or recertification visits.
Notification of Material Changes: Formally notify the compliance office within 30 days regarding any major structural, ownership, legal, or operational modifications that significantly impact the management system.
Logo and Mark Usage: Use all certification marks, logos, and public claims in strict accordance with corporate branding guidelines. Misleading statements or unauthorized extensions of the certified scope are prohibited.
4. Surveillance and Recertification Framework
Surveillance Audits: Regular periodic evaluations (typically on an annual cycle) will be conducted to verify ongoing adherence to the scheme criteria.
Recertification: A comprehensive re-evaluation of the entire management system must be completed prior to the expiration date of the current certificate (usually a 3-year cycle) to ensure uninterrupted validity.
5. Suspension, Withdrawal, and Reduction
The certification body reserves the right to suspend, withdraw, or reduce the scope of a certification under the following conditions:
Persistent or serious failure to meet certification requirements or address non-conformances within agreed timelines.
Failure to allow scheduled surveillance or recertification audits to be executed at required frequencies.
Violation of the financial terms or contractual agreements governing the certification scheme.
Express voluntary request by the certified organization.
6. Appeals and Complaints Handling
Any client or applicant has the right to formally appeal an adverse certification decision or file a complaint regarding the audit process.
Appeals must be submitted in writing within 30 days of receiving the contested decision.
All submissions are reviewed independently by an impartial committee to ensure a fair, transparent, and objective resolution.
